The ownership and profits of the hotel have been bequeathed to a new foundation devoted to animals and the poor, created by the 86-year-old owner, Jeanne Augier.

The royal reception room is THE central place in the Negresco Hotel. It was ORIGINALLY a grand ballroom and is NOW listed as a historical monument. The IMPRESSIVE splendid glass roof sits over the royal reception room, and the IMPOSING Baccarat chandelier, 4.6 m high with 16,800 crystals, is PLACED in the center of the royal reception.
